Three-time American League MVP and 2009 World Series Champion Alex Rodriguez is set to open another UFC GYM next spring in Miami. Rodriquez, CEO of A-Rod Corp., secured developmental rights for UFC GYMs throughout Miami-Dade County in 2017. His new Midtown location will be his second club, following the launch of his 31,000 square-foot facility in Kendall.

"I am excited to bring UFC GYM to Midtown Miami and provide the community with an unparalleled fitness experience and training program that I believe in," said Rodriguez. "The Train Different programming fosters an energetic, inclusive community that is passionate about the same healthy lifestyle my family and I lead. I appreciated it firsthand in my Kendall club and I look forward to continuing this in Midtown."

UFC GYM has opened more than 150 locations from the United States to the UK, India, Australia, Vietnam, Singapore, Mexico, South America, the United Arab Emirates, and more. The fitness franchise has more than 600 additional locations in development.
