Jan-Pro Regional Developers Take Over Houston Market
Seven Jan-Pro Cleaning & Disinfecting regional developers from across the brand’s network have joined forces to take over the franchise’s Houston market, which is made up of 13 counties in the greater Houston area.
Under the new arrangement, the partners will bring their collective experience, expertise, and focus to support franchisees in the growing Houston market.
“We are excited about the opportunities that the acquisition of the Houston market brings,” said Tom Richter, one of the new owners and Jan-Pro franchise operator in Salt Lake City. “Houston is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and we intend to capitalize on this commercial expansion. Together we have over 119 years of Jan-Pro experience and collectively comprise almost 10% of Jan-Pro’s overall volume.”
Richter and his six colleagues - Jim Palkovic, Richard Johnson, Sean Hassan, Frank Papasodero, Kevin Johnson, and Jay Waldron, are already successful Jan-Pro operators in Salt Lake City, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Milwaukee, Raleigh and Fayetteville, North Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee, Augusta-Athens, Georgia, and Fort Myers, Florida.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the new Jan-Pro development of Houston ownership team and help execute on our mission to grow the brand in the greater Houston market,” said Kevin Johnson, another of the new Houston owners and Jan-Pro franchise operator in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
The partners plan to open a second office to handle the size of their new market and are looking forward to driving momentum for the brand in the Houston market.
