Largest Captain D's Operator Opens Another Location

Captain D’s largest multi-unit operator is at it again. This time adding a new location in Foley, Alabama. Trident Holdings, LLC’s Chris Benner and Tim Stokes have expanded their operation to 53 of the fast-casual restaurants since becoming franchisees with the brand in 2015.

“Over the last eight years, our team has opened 11 new Captain D’s restaurants, and I couldn’t be prouder to grow our partnership further with this legacy brand. The corporate team has remained consistent in introducing real estate options made for today’s customer, and the double drive-thru is another example of that,” said Benner. “Only minutes away from Alabama’s coastline, Tanger Outlet shopping center and OWA Parks & Resort, the new restaurant in Foley provides the major traffic coming through the city with a convenient place to eat.”

Most of Trident Holdings’ franchised locations are in Southeastern states like Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and Alabama. Their holdings comprise 10 percent of Captain D’s franchised and corporate owned locations.
