Minnesota Operator Signs 40-Unit Development Agreement with Crisp & Green
An 11-unit franchise development agreement wasn’t enough for Rory Kelly of Salads & Smoothies, LLC. The Crisp & Green multi-unit operator just signed a new 40-unit development agreement with the fast-casual “healthy lifestyle” brand.
The franchisee already has two locations up and running in Minnesota with a third set to launch this spring in Mankato. All 51 locations in the combined agreements are scheduled to open by 2028.
“I knew immediately upon being introduced to Crisp & Green that it was a very special brand and far superior from what you typically see in the fast-casual space. With two units open, we have experienced firsthand the incredible demand for healthy, scratch-made and convenient food,” said Salads & Smoothies partner Kelly. “Our team believes strongly that this opportunity offers a sustainable model for growth.”
The new development deal between Salads & Smoothies and Crisp & Green includes not only territories in the brand’s home state of Minnesota, but also new markets such as Phoenix, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Cleveland. The development deal is the largest in the history of Crips & Green, which is part of the Steele Brands portfolio.
