Multi-Brand Operator Bringing Blaze Pizza Locations to Texas Markets
Roz Mallet is a non-traditional franchise location specialist. Her PhaseNext Hospitality company operates franchises largely in locations such as airports and military bases. She is currently developing a non-traditional Blaze Pizza location at the Fort Bliss Army Base in El Paso. Now her company has just inked a new development deal with Blaze Pizza in the Dallas market.
Her new agreement will see her bring another three traditional Blaze Pizza locations to the North Dallas area. These new locations of the artisanal pizza chain will complement her portfolio of Buffalo Wild Wings, Corner Bakery Cafe, Italian Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck, and Smashburger locations.
"After being in the restaurant industry for quite some time, I've learned to align with brands, such as Blaze Pizza, that share my values and strategic vision," said Mallet, who was recently named to the Nation's Restaurant News Power List for 2019. "The company's innovative concept has intrigued me since day one and they have a powerhouse team supporting my growth goals. As we add development of more traditional spaces, I'm looking forward to harnessing in on local fans' loyalty and continuing to serve them with top-notch service."
Mallet is no stranger to franchising and has served in a number of restaurant and hospitality leadership positions over the years. She was chief operating officer at La Madeleine French Bakery & Café from 2004 to 2007, and the TGI Friday's senior vice president of human resources from 2000 to 2003. She co-founded PhaseNext Hospitality in 2009.
Blaze Pizza now operates more than 330 restaurants in 41 states and 5 countries.
