Nominations for Multi-Unit Franchisee Magazine MVP Awards Now Open

Annual Awards Recognize the Industry's Most Valuable Players - Franchisee Talent, Performance, and Excellence

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 1, 2011 - Multi-Unit Franchisee Magazine today announced that nominations are now open for the annual MVP (Most Valuable Player) Awards, recognizing the industry's best in franchisee talent, performance and excellence. The deadline for entry is March 15, 2011, and the winners will be announced on April 28, 2011 at the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference in Las Vegas.

Multi-Unit Franchisee MVP Awards will be presented in each of the following categories, based on demonstrated outstanding performance:

• Innovators - multi-unit franchisees who have grown their systems and brands through innovation in marketing, sales, and supply management.
• Top Performers - multi-unit franchisees who have exceptional growth stories.
• Brand Builders - multi-unit franchisees who have contributed significantly to the growth of a brand.

In addition to a Multi-Unit Franchisee MVP Trophy, winners will also receive national and industry recognition, an exclusive profile in Multi-Unit Franchisee Magazine, a feature on mufranchisee.com, and other special announcements and press releases.

To qualify for entry, multi-unit franchisees must have at least five operating units, and have been in a franchise system for a minimum of two years. Multi-unit franchisees can nominate themselves or fellow multi-unit franchisees. Franchisors can nominate outstanding multi-unit franchisee performers in their systems.
