About Little Land

In 2014, Ernie Beltz Jr. and his wife, Debbie Garcia-Beltz, OTR/L, founded Little Land in Austin, Texas as a safe, fun, clean, and purposeful place for children of all abilities to have developmentally appropriate playtime. Since then, the company has a corporate store in Austin and franchise locations in Bee Cave, Buda, Leander, Temple, Waco, and Katy. Little Land is a 2018 winner of the NextGen in Franchising Global Competition, a Best Place to Work in Austin in 2018, and named 2018 Business of the Year by PeopleFund.

Franchise History

Ernie and Debbie Beltz founded the Little Land concept in 2014. Debbie, a pediatric occupational therapist for nearly 20 years, dreamed of creating a place for all kids to play together while developing foundational skills that are instrumental to their growth. The first location was opened in Austin, Texas in April 2015 and just over one year later, Little Land was offered as a franchise with locations across Texas and opening soon in China.
