Operator Inks South Carolina Penn Station Sandwiches Deal

Eric Fairbanks, an experienced operator who owns nine Penn Station Sandwiches restaurants primarily in the Charlotte, North Carolina, market, plans to open two locations in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Fairbanks has been franchising with the brand for eight years and is expanding his footprint in partnership with Sait Perez through Penn Station's Managing Owner Program.

Formerly Penn Station East Coast Subs, the brand recently changed its name to Penn Station Sandwiches. According to Don Champion, senior vice president of franchise sales and development, the brand's recent transformation has been a key driver in attracting and empowering multi-unit operators.
