Tony Roma's Opens Its Sixth Restaurant in Dubai
If you're a fan of baby back ribs (and who isn't?) looking for somewhere to eat in Dubai (and who isn't?), you can now satisfy your cravings at a new Tony Roma's, which opened in late 2019 in the Festival Plaza Mall.
The new casual dining restaurant location is the sixth Tony Roma's in the country for the franchisee, International Trading Franchises (ITF).
"Tony Roma's journey began 15 years ago in Dubai, and we are thrilled to continue our growth trajectory," said Hadi Al Hakim, partner and CEO of ITF. "We believe that our brand is perfectly suited for this locality and look forward to continued success in Dubai." ITF, founded in 2003, also operates other food and beverage brands, including Jamaica Blue Fine Coffees, Villa Beirut, and Beaver Tails Pastry.
The new restaurant, with a 2,000-square-foot dining area, is located close to large residential areas including Discovery Gardens, Jumeirah Beach, and Jumeirah Lake Towers. The Festival Plaza Mall will have a total of 180 retail outlets, including a seven-screen cinema and entertainment center for kids.
"Tony Roma's has an exceptional reputation through Dubai as the premier place for American ribs," said Romacorp President and COO John Brisco.
Romacorp, the parent company of Tony Roma's restaurants, is based in Orlando, Florida. The first Tony Roma's restaurant opened in 1972 in North Miami. Today the brand has more than 135 restaurants in more than 25 countries.
