USCS Report: Franchising Industry - A Reference for U.S. Exporters
In case you missed it, and if you're a U.S. franchisor looking to expand overseas, a report from the U.S. Commercial Service (USCS) is worth a look. The report, "Franchising Industry - A Reference for U.S. Exporters" (2018 Edition), provides profiles for 39 countries, from Australia to Indonesia, Hungary to Kazakhstan, and Turkey to the United Arab Emirates, among others.

The USCS is the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce's International Trade Administration and has worked closely with the IFA to promote trade missions to various countries and regions over the years. In fact, the report contains an introduction by Robert Cresanti, CEO of the IFA.
