Washington State Gets First Taste of Capriotti's
Ron Mehiel brought the first Capriotti's Sandwich Shop to the state of Washington this week as he opened the doors of his new location in Tukwila. There were free "Bobbie" sandwiches for the first 100 guests and at an official grand opening early next month all proceeds for the day will be donated to the Tukwila Pantry Food Bank to provide produce and dry goods to local families in need.
Mehial says he was first introduced to the sandwich brand by his brother and says he quickly noticed the difference in the high quality meats and fresh ingredients. "When I first stepped foot in Capriotti's I was blown away by the sandwich shop's commitment to serving its guests only the best quality products," he says. "It was at that moment that I realized I had to open up a location in our area. With mouthwatering favorites like The Bobbie and the Cheese Steak, people from all over the Seattle area will come to Tukwila to enjoy our sandwiches."
Mehiel comes from a family with more than 10 years of franchising experience and brings a wealth of experience to his new business. He says he is excited to be "introducing these delectable subs to the great Northwest and widening the brand's reach across the U.S."
"Capriotti's expansion to a new state exemplifies a great milestone in the growing success of our brand and we are one step closer to providing truly unique sandwiches to guests in all corners of the country," says Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti's. "With over a decade of experience, we are confident Ron will successfully introduce and grow the brand in the Seattle area."
The Capriotti's brand was started in 1976 and has now expanded into 18 states and federal districts and more than 100 locations across the country.
