Franchisee Bringing Multiple Wetzel's Pretzels Locations To Canada

Cory Reddekopp sees a lot of potential for Wetzel's Pretzels in Canada. It's why he has just signed on with the pretzel brand to bring eight stores north of the border. He's scheduled to open units across the Alberta and British Columbia provinces - two should be open by the end of the year. The Wetzel's Pretzels brand currently has two locations operating in Canada.
"I believe the opportunity to grow the Wetzel's Pretzels brand in Canada is tremendous and far exceeds the initial eight stores I plan to open. I am actively seeking operating partners to help develop additional Wetzel's Pretzels stores across Canada," said Reddekopp. "Additionally, the brand's various build-out options provide us countless opportunities to expand regardless of square footage, while still being able to deliver the hot-and-fresh pretzels guests love."
The Pasadena, California-based brand has experienced strong results in both core and outer markets and continues to seek out qualified multi-unit franchise operators to become international partners.
"We're continuing to partner with motivated, growth-oriented franchisees both domestically and internationally. Wetzel's Pretzels is a fantastic portfolio concept for seasoned multi-unit franchisees with other brands," said Doug Flaig, VP franchise development at Wetzel's Pretzels.
