Orangetheory Fitness Operator Opens its 58th Location

Orangetheory Fitness area developer and franchisee Empire Portfolio Group will open its newest location in Charlotte, North Carolina this week. The new location will be the operator’s 13th studio in the Charlotte area and marks the 58th location they own and operate.

“We’re excited by this opportunity to bring Orangetheory to the College Downs and UNC Charlotte area and provide more fitness options for residents and students,” said Empire’s CEO, Adam Krell. “We are continuing to evolve the workout experience for our members, making it more connected, personalized and effective.”

Empire Portfolio Group was founded in 2013 in New York City. The area developer’s portfolio consists of 130 Orangetheory Fitness studios across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
