Little Caesars Hires Ex-PepsiCo Exec Jeff Klein as SVP of Global Marketing
In early April, Little Caesars announced that Jeff Klein had been named senior vice president of global marketing.
Known for its perky "Pizza Pizza!" mascot, Little Caesars, founded in 1959, is the largest carryout-only pizza chain in the United States and the third-largest pizza chain in the world, with stores in each of the 50 states and 24 countries and territories around the world.
Klein, who has spent nearly 20 years in progressive marketing leadership positions, served the past 2 years at PepsiCo Foodservice as senior vice president and chief marketing officer for global foodservice. That followed 8 years as vice president of brand marketing at PepsiCo, where he was responsible for all elements of the marketing mix for PepsiCo's $10 billion-plus mainstream brands portfolio, including Lay's, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Ruffles, Fritos, and dips business.
Before that, he spent 10 years at Frito-Lay North America in various marketing roles, where he led the growth agenda for Doritos, Lays, Cheetos, and Tostitos.
"I'm excited to welcome Jeff to our organization," said Dave Scrivano, president and CEO of Little Caesars. "With his impressive achievements and experience, I know we can count on him to grow our global brand and continue to shake up the pizza game like we've been doing for the past 60 years."
